In an indicative of the growing stature of chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the central leadership of BJP is using him in election campaigns in different parts of the country. After leading the gruelling election campaign in Uttarakhand where he addressed 90 public meetings in different parts of the State, CM Dhami has started campaigning in other states where elections are scheduled in remaining phases. In coming days, the CM will address public meetings in support of BJP candidates in West Bengal, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand. He has already addressed half a dozen public meetings in different parts of the country where he received a very good public response.  On Tuesday Dhami participated in the nomination rally of BJP leader Locket Chatterjea in Hooghly in West Bengal.  The Uttarakhand CM attended nomination rallies of BJP candidates in Delhi East and Ayodhya on Wednesday.

He has already addressed public meetings in Nizamabad, Warangal and Hyderabad. Dhami was also present in the nomination rally of Defence minister Rajnath Singh along with UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath.

Interestingly, Dhami was in election mode even before the declaration of Lok Sabha elections.  Before the enforcement of model code of conduct (MCC) and announcement of election the Uttarakhand CM had addressed Nari Shakti Vandan programmes and beneficiary conclaves in all the 13 districts of the State.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Dhami has already endeared himself to the BJP leadership by undertaking a drive to demolish illegal Madarsas, strict anti-copying act and bringing a law to check religious conversions in the State. These steps coupled with the decision to implement Uniform Civil Code (UCC) and anti riot law have increased his stature in the BJP and in national politics.
