The Pantnagar-based GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT) has achieved a jump of 100 places in the QS World Ranking. Last year, the university had been ranked 311th in QS World Ranking which was between 300-350. This year, the university has ranked between 200-250. The university officials ascribed the progress in ranking to its
continuous efforts in the fields of teaching, research and extension.
Lauding the achievement, the GBPUAT vice-chancellor Manmohan Singh Chauhan said that the university has been working tirelessly to enhance academic excellence, research and extension activities in the field of agriculture, making significant contributions to the nation.
