Health services in U’khand pathetic: Dhasmana

Says that by preferring Delhi hospital for a mild chest infection, the CM has stamped his approval on bad health services in state

The Vice President of Uttarakhand Congress, Suryakant Dhasmana has said that by deciding to get admitted in Delhi instead of Government Doon Medical College  (GDMC) hospital in Dehradun for a minor chest infection, the chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has himself put a stamp of approval over the dismal state of health services in Uttarakhand.

Addressing the media persons at Rajiv Bhawan here on Thursday, Dhasmana said that chest infection level of CM was only four while the GDMC where he was initially admitted had patients of severity score 11 and 12. He said that the CM went to Delhi along with his wife and daughter without caring about those admitted in the hospital. Dhasmana said that the number of Covid-19 infected patients in Uttarakhand is about to touch one lakh and the CM who also heads the health portfolio should now accept that his government has failed on the health front.
