Decision taken for smooth conduction of examination of Uttarakhand board
In view of the smooth conduction of Board examinations and other activities of the education department, the state administration has imposed a complete ban on strikes in the department for next six months. The government issued notification in this regard on Monday.
In the notification released by the secretary R Meenakshi Sundaram, the state administration has invoked powers vested in it under the Maintenance of essential services act -1966 ( Uttar Pradesh) to ban the strike in the school education department and Uttarakhand Vidyalayi Shiksha Parishad (UVSP) for a period of six months from March 22, 2021.
