The Forest Research Institute campus has been closed to visitors following frequent leopard sightings in recent days. According to the institute officials, leopards with cubs have been sighted during the morning, evening, and even during the daytime in recent days.
For security reasons and to avoid any untoward incident, the FRI campus has been closed to all visitors including morning and evening walkers from December 29 to January 15. It should be noted that the FRI campus provides a sheltered habitat for the big cats especially when with cubs.
