More than 322 Gram Pradhans and progressive farmers from various parts of Uttar Pradesh participated in a felicitations n and health seminar at Shri Venkateshwara University.
The chairman of Shri Venkateshwara group, Sudhir Giri said that the economy of India is dependent on agriculture. Stating that education and health are basic requirements, he said that the group is committed to providing quality education and free health services to people in western UP. Principal advisor, Ministry of Agriculture, Bharat Bhushan Tyagi spoke in detail on methods to protect seasonal crops from various diseases and about how to double the income of farmers.
