The chairman of Manjira Devi Shikshan Avam Prashikshan Sansthan, Bhagwan Nautiyal met the Uttarkashi district magistrate Abhishek Ruhela and congratulated him on the district’s red paddy having been presented the national level One District, One Product (ODOP) Award.
Notably, this award was given in recognition of the cultivation, propagation and marketing of the red paddy deemed to be endowed with health-enhancing qualities.
Lauding the DM on this achievement, Nautiyal said that he had taken pains to upgrade the quality of crops in the district by remaining in constant touch with the farmers and providing them guidance and high-quality agricultural inputs.
