Dry weather to prevail today after days of rain & snow

After some days of rain and snowfall in Uttarakhand, there is some relief from the rain as the state meteorological centre has forecast that dry weather is likely to prevail in the state on Thursday. According to the weather forecast, dense fog is likely to occur in some parts of the plains especially in Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar districts. Dehradun is likely to experience mainly clear to partly cloudy sky with mist/shallow fog also likely to occur. The maximum and minimum temperatures in Dehradun are likely to be around 20 degrees Celsius and eight degrees Celsius respectively on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded at various places on Wednesday were 22.4 degrees Celsius and 12 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 22.1 degrees Celsius and 13.4 degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 7.5 degrees Celsius and 4.3 degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 7.8 degrees Celsius and 6.4 degrees Celsius respectively in New Tehri. The rainfall measured in these cities from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM on Wednesday was 13.4 millimetres in Dehradun, 1.3 millimetres in Pantnagar, 5.8 millimetres in Mukteshwar and 8.8 millimetres in New Tehri.
