The Dehradun police have nabbed a man for the murder of his wife and her 18 year old paramour. Addressing mediapersons on Monday, the DIG and SSP, Dehradun Janmejaya Khanduri informed that Selaqui resident Aalam had filed a missing report of his 18-year-old nephew Arman on December 3.
He stated in his report that Arman had gone somewhere on his bike on December 2 but had not returned home. Khanduri said that the police started an investigation after registering the complaint. He said that the police based on CCTV footage and call details zeroed on the culprit, Musheer Ali.
The DIG said that Ali revealed during the investigation that the missing boy Arman and his second wife Babli Bano had an affair and despite his objections, they both continued seeing each other. The Police said that Ali first killed his wife and after some days killed Arman. “He has also recorded a video of his wife’s murder in his mobile phone,” informed Khanduri.
