Terming the decision of the Supreme Court to uphold the abrogation of Article 370 of the constitution as historic, chief minister Pushkar Singh said that the decision is the victory of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that the decision of SC is the victory of the dream of late Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. He said that the historic decision to abrogate the article 370 of the constitution was taken by the BJP government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
A five judge constitution bench of SC headed by Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud upheld the decision of the BJP government to abrogate the article 370. The article accorded special status to Jammu and Kashmir.
