Cyber crime is one of the biggest challenges of the times and needs to be addressed. Security agencies keep themselves updated but the cyber criminals are a step ahead. The Dehradun superintendent of police (City) Shweta Choubey said this while speaking at the inaugural function of the security awareness week at ONGC on Monday.
She said that these days the police receive more cyber complaints compared to other crimes. Stressing on the need for remaining alert, she also said that efforts should also be undertaken to raise public awareness on this. She also spoke on various other aspects of security.
Earlier, the group general manager- Corporate Administration head at ONGC, Vipul Kumar Jain welcomed Choubey and stressing on the importance of security, said that it should not be curtailed to just this week but should be observed throughout the year. Various officials of ONGC were also present on the occasion.
