There is an increase in voter turnout this election compared to 2019 election as per the figures received from election officers till 1 pm. While the turnout percentage till 1 pm in the 2019 election was 36 this time it has gone up to 37.33. Braving the sweltering heat, people started queuing up at their respective polling stations since 7 am to participate in the greatest festival of participatory democracy. Police said polling is completely peaceful with no incident of malpractice or violence reported from anywhere.
