Agriculture minister Ganesh Joshi said this while chairing a meeting in Pithoragarh to review arrangements for the Prime Minister’s visit to the State.

Chairing the meeting with officials, Joshi issued necessary instructions to them regarding the venue of the public rally to be addressed by Modi in Pithoragarh. He sought information from the officials regarding the entrance, site, tent, drinking water, toilet and other aspects related to the public gathering. He directed all the officials concerned to ensure that all the preparations are completed on time while also making sure that there is no gap in any of the arrangements. He directed the Transport department officials to ensure that all the vehicles reach the programme venue on time. All necessary arrangements should also be made for drinking water at the venue of the public gathering, he said.

It will be recalled that the Prime Minister is slated to visit Jageshwar on October 12 and also address a public rally in Pithoragarh on the same day. Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is slated to reach Pithoragarh on Tuesday to check the arrangements made for Modi’s visit.
