Expressing their deep sorrow on the murder of Ankita, the Congress leaders said that they will extend every possible help to the grieving family. The PCC president offered condolences to Bhandari on the death of his daughter and said that the very fact that the police did not sought police remand of the prime accused Pulkit Arya proves that the efforts are going on to save the murderers of Ankita. Mahara said that the Congress party has demanded a CBI probe in the case so that the culprits can be hanged. The LoP Arya alleged that effort is underway to tamper with the evidence in the case. The former PCC president Godiyal said that the Congress party wants that the maximum punishment is given to the murderers of Ankita.
