Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met the family of one of the workers stuck in the Silkyara tunnel while on a tour in Tanakpur on Sunday. Dhami met the family members of the worker Pushkar Singh Airy who is a resident of Chhinigoth area of Tanakpur at their home and assured them that all the 41 workers stuck in the partially caved-in tunnel will soon be rescued safely.
He further informed them that all the workers are safe and that work is being carried out at a swift pace at the site to rescue the workers. The government is committed to the safety of each of the workers. It is ensuring that they are being provided food and other items regularly, the CM said.
