Every aspect of lord Ram’s life an inspiration for all: Dhami

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the whole life of lord Ram is a sacred example which inspires people with its humane values and ideals. Each aspect of lord Ram’s life is a source of inspiration for all and teaches all to discharge their responsibilities under any circumstances in life. Speaking at a Deepotsav programme organised in Kashipur on Saturday, Dhami said that Ram’s life story continues to inspire millions of people many centuries after his incarnation.

The chief minister said that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership work is being undertaken to revive the culture of India. The protection of Sanatan Dharma and raising awareness about it is being undertaken across the world. The construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya which was pending for many decades is finally underway and progressing swiftly. Dhami also spoke about the elaborate reconstruction of Kedarnath after the 2013 disaster. The reconstruction and related development works in Kedarnath will be completed by the end of 2023, he said. The chief minister further said that the master plan made for the grand development of Badrinath Dham is also being worked upon at a swift pace. He said that during his recent visit to Uttarakhand, PM Modi had unveiled the foundation stones for development works worth more than Rs 3,400 crore at an event in Mana village near Badrinath. These development works including the Gaurikund-Kedarnath ropeway, Govindghat-Hemkund Sahib ropeway, widening of the Mana to Mana Pass Road and Joshimath to Malari road. He said that the construction of the ropeways will enable pilgrims to visit the shrines in a more convenient manner. The chief minister reiterated that the State government is working to develop Uttarakhand into an ideal State by 2025 when it celebrates the 25th anniversary of the State’s foundation. The government is aiming to make Uttarakhand the best in spheres of culture, tourism, employment, agriculture and horticulrure. All the departments have been directed to prepare a roadmap for development works for the next 10 years, said the CM.

Uttarakhand Forest Development Corporation chairman Kailash Chandra Gehtodi, MLA Trilok Singh Cheema, local public representatives and officials were also present on the occasion.
