During a mountaineering expedition of the army to Satopanth, the team members found the remains of a body.It is being thought that it may belong to one of the mountaineers who had gone missing during an army mountaineering expedition in 2005. The army men retrieved the body and brought it down from the mountain. The process for identifying the body has been started.
The army has decided to hand over the body to the regular police so that its identification can be carried out as per the rules. After the identification is completed, the army will hand it over with honour to the family members.
