The number of Covid-19 cases in Uttarakhand is continuing to increase. The State Health department reported 35 new cases of Covid-19 from different parts of the State on Saturday. The authorities reported 17 new cases of Covid-19 from Dehradun on Saturday. The department found six new cases of the disease in Almora, five in Haridwar, three in Chamoli, two in Champawat and one each in Bageshwar and Nainital districts on the day.
The authorities declared three patients cured from the disease on the day. The department has so far detected 491 new cases of the disease from January 1 this year in the State . A total of 366 patients have recovered from the disease so far. A total of six patients have lost their lives from the disease from January 1 this year in the state. The State now has 119 active patients of Covid-19. Dehradun has 70 active cases of the disease while Haridwar has 16, Nainital 11, Almora eight active cases of the disease. Pauri and Chamoli have four each while Uttarkashi and Champawat have two active cases each of the disease.
