BJP leaders paid tributes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother Hiraba Modi after her demise on Friday. Paying his tributes to her at the party’s State office, the BJP State president Mahendra Bhatt said that mothers like Hiraba are rare as they create a leader like Narendra Modi with their hard work, values and thoughts. “The ideals and values which she taught her son are now being witnessed in PM Modi’s behaviour daily which the nation is also trying to imbibe,” said Bhatt.
Haridwar MP and former chief minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said that Hiraba was a mother whose son brought pride to the nation across the world. “The strength and affection in her behaviour inspired PM Modi to fulfill his responsibility for the nation. The values she taught him are there to guide all in the behaviour of PM Modi,” he said.
State office bearers of the party also paid their tributes and expressed their thoughts on the occasion.
