Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed that the construction of the Sainya Dham at Guniyalgaon in Dehradun should be completed by February this year. The CM issued this direction to the Peyjal Nigam managing director Ranveer Singh Chauhan while chairing a meeting to review the progress of this project here on Sunday.
Dhami said that Uttarakhand has a considerable proportion of people serving in the armed forces. The Sainya Dham being constructed in Dehradun is important for the State from this perspective. He said that Uttarakhand is also important from the viewpoint of soldiers.
Dhami directed the Soldier Welfare department said that the required fund should be released to the executing agency at the earliest to ensure that the project is completed on time.
