To curb the spiraling cases of molestation of girls/women in the State, the Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Ghelot announced during his I-Day address that his government would come down heavily on those who will be found involved in molestation of women/girls. In a stern warning, he said that the accused would not just be removed from government services if they are government employees but also would debar those youths who are preparing to sit in government service recruitment examination if found involved in molestation cases. Going even further, he announced that such miscreants would be treated by law as history -sheeters.  Notably, the CM was at the receiving end of flaks from all quarters for his government’s failure to check the miscreants molesting women/girls. Also, photos of such miscreants would be displayed on the message boards installed outside police stations.  The CM further said that if even these measures fail to curb the molestation spree in his State, the photos of accused persons would be displayed at the public places.
