Kriti Sanon and Tiger Shroff have come a long way in a short span of time since their debut together. Team Viva explores their current projects

This weekend marked seven years since the release of the box-office hit, Heropanti, in which Kriti Sanon and Tiger Shroff marked their arrival in Bollywood. Following their debut together, both have made their presence felt in the Hindi film industry, with each following a different path.

Reminiscing about his journey so far, Tiger couldn’t help but get nostalgic while recalling Heropanti. “Looking back in time, I feel nothing but gratitude for all the crazy experiences and the love the audience has showered on me. Heropanti will always be a really special film to me, and I just want to thank the director Sabbir Khan and producer Sajid Nadiadwala for believing in me. I would also like to thank Kriti for being one of the best co-stars I could possibly debut with,” he shared.

Currently both actors have multiple projects in their kitty. Kriti has several big-budget films in the making. “As an actor, I crave to get diverse roles to be able to explore worlds I haven’t been to before. I’m fortunate to have gotten opportunities in such different genres,” she expressed, excited about her future projects. From the role of Sita in the mythology drama Adipurush with Prabhas to a surrogate mother in Mimi, none of her upcoming characters seem alike at all. She will be seen in a horror flick for the first time in Bhediya with Varun Dhawan. Other projects include Bachchan Pandey with Akshay Kumar and the quirky comedy Hum Do Hamaare Do pairing her alongside Rajkummar Rao. “It’s challenging but very satisfying and I hope I’m able to do justice to all characters. I am probably in the most exciting phase of my career so far,” Kriti added.

On the other hand, Tiger has multiple franchises in the works with Heropanti 2 set for release later this year. He will also be seen in the fourth instalment of Baaghi sometime next year.

The pair will be seen together for the first time since Heropanti in the action flick Ganapath, directed by Vikas Bahl.
