In latest news from Uttarakhand, during his stay in Nainital, the Governor Lt Gen (Retd), Gurmit Singh paid obeisance at the historic Gurudwara and also offered prayers at the Maa Naina Devi temple.
On the arrival at the Gurudwara, he was welcomed by the officials of Shri Gurudwara Management Committee. Later, members of the temple management committee welcomed him when he reached Maa Naina Devi temple.
“Every pilgrimage site of Uttarakhand has its own distinct spiritual identity which provides peace of mind and transmits positive energy,” he observed.
