Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami who is on a two-day tour of Gujarat visited the famous Sabarmati riverfront on Wednesday morning. The CM met the local people during his morning walk on the riverfront and interacted with them. He listened to their views and experiences regarding the development of Gujarat and also invited them to visit Uttarakhand. Dhami said that the unprecedented work of developing Sabarmati riverfront into a famous tourist destination occurred when Prime Minister Narendra Modi was chief minister of Gujarat. He said that the riverfront is a symbol of amalgamation of ecology and economy. The Sabarmati riverfront has a unique place among the tourism destinations of Gujarat and the riverfront project has received more than 20 national and international awards.
