In Dehradun news, two persons were killed as the utility vehicle they were travelling in fell into Tons river while going to Vikas Nagar from Chakrata. The accident happened in Shamvar Kanu village. It is learnt that three persons, including a woman, all belonging to the same family, were travelling in the car. The villagers pulled the injured woman from the gorge and rushed her to Vikas Nagar for admission to a hospital. The two deceased have been identified as Puran Singh (48), resident of Chakrata, and Manoj (27), resident of Chakrata. The injured woman has been identified as Samo Devi (42).
