The Bharatiya Janata Party connected with almost all the voters during its poll campaign to communicate works of the government. The BJP state media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan said that along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, various central and state leaders addressed virtual and physical public meets, room meetings, audio bridge and used other mediums to communicate with lakhs of people. PM Modi addressed three physical rallies and virtual public meets in 148 locations to seek votes for the BJP on the basis of the performance of the double-engine government. Senior party leaders from the centre and other states addressed 177 physical public gatherings to communicate the party’s vision. The party’s state leadership held 280 physical and 87 virtual public meetings to seek votes from the citizens. Further, the new audio bridge technology was used to hold two-way communication in 43 public meets. The BJP had launched its formal poll campaign on February 1.
