In latest news from Uttarakhand, in view of the upcoming Chaitra Navratri, the rope-way service to the revered Surkanda Devi temple would remain suspended from March 19 to 21 for repairing work. This aside, the rope-way would be examined during these three days to avoid technical glitches. Notably, Chaitra Navratri will be observed from April 9 to 17.
