Reliance has announced that it is all set to launch the Jio AirFiber on September 19, marking the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. The launching date was fixed during the 46th annual general meeting (AGM). The company said that it is preparing to expand its network to over 200 million users by offering 1, 50, 000 connections daily. As per the company’s claims, it already has 10 million JioFiber customers while the optical fiber network is spread across 1.5 million km. Sharing details of the upcoming scheme, the company claims that JioAirFiber uses the 5G network and wireless technologies to bypass the need for last-mile fiber.
