The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has launched its Rozgar Guarantee Abhiyan in order to attract more voters with its employment promises. A total of 7,000 party workers will visit door to door across the state to register the unemployed youths for 20 days. The state in-charge of the party Dinesh Mohaniya said that the national convener of the party Arvind Kejriwal had promised in his last visit to Haldwani that AAP will provide employment to every unemployed youth if the party comes to power next year. He said that the party has started taking steps to fulfill these promises and Rozgar Guarantee Yatra and Rozgar Guarantee Abhiyan are part of the same. “After the success of our Bijli Guarantee Abhiyan, we are launching our Rozgar Guarantee Abhiyan. In this campaign, a total of 7,000 party workers will go to all Vidhan Sabha constituencies for the next 20 days and will make people aware of the party’s campaign and promises. The party will also register the unemployed youth during the campaign so that they can get jobs or the allowance of Rs 5,000 till they get the jobs when the party wins the 2022 state assembly elections. The registered members will also receive a Rozgar Guarantee card during the campaign. He added that the party will also conduct 10,000 employment rights meetings. The state in-charge said that the party is already receiving a great response for its Rozgar Guarantee Yatra which was started last month under the leadership of AAP’s chief ministerial candidate Ajay Kothiyal and this campaign will help them to reach more people too. “We have received great support from the public across the state who expects AAP to provide jobs to locals rather than the relatives and acquaintances of ministers here. The party will fulfill all its promises after winning the election,” added Mohaniya.
