Priyanshi wants to serve the nation, youngsters aims to join IAF

The Uttarakhand Vidyalayi Shiksha Parishad class X topper in the State,  Priyanshi Rawat scored 500 out of 500 marks. A student of Jangam Baba Shankar Giri Inter College (JBSG), Gangolihat, she wants to join the Indian Air Force and serve the nation.

Her father Rajesh Rawat is an ex-serviceman who presently runs a hardware and gift center shop. Priyanshi’s mother Rajni Rawat is a teacher. Priyanshi Rawat did her primary education from Berinag.  Her school principal Vimal Kothari, manager Narendra Rawal and others have congratulated her on her resounding success.

Priyanshi wants to serve the country by becoming an officer in the IAF. She told this correspondent that after appearing in the examination she was confident that she would make it  to the merit list of the State but she did not know that she would top the State. Happy with her achievement, Priyanshi said that she used to study regularly in the school. She did not put herself under any kind of pressure regarding the board exams. Her parents also consistently boosted her morale.

Priyanshi said that many students suffer from pressure in board exams whereas one should not take any kind of pressure while studying and whatever subject one is studying, one should study it with full interest. If  one doesn’t feel pressure, one will do better in every exam. Priyanshi said that her father had served the nation while serving in the army and that she too wants to serve the country by becoming an officer in the Indian Air Force. Priyanshi credited her parents, uncles, aunts and teachers for her success. She said that her parents guided her from time to time which is why she was able to perform as well as she did.
