In latest news from Uttarakhand, Prateek Pandey from Lamachaur Haldwani has been included in the 18-member cricket team selected by the Cricket Association of Uttarakhand (CAU) for the upcoming T-20 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. CAU office bearers said that the cricketers have been selected for the team on the basis of their performance in UPL matches. Pandey’s performance in UPL matches was impressive, they said. Notably, he earlier played as a member of the Nainital district cricket team. He also played for Uttarakhand under-19 camp and senior camp. In 2023, he for the first time was selected for the Uttarakhand team.
