Several routes on Dehradun will remain diverted from 9 AM to 2 PM on Saturday due to VVIP programme. Entry of heavy vehicles will be banned on Rishikesh to Bhaniyawala to Haridwar route from 8 AM to 2 PM. The officials informed that vehicles coming from Rishikesh towards Bhaniyawala will be stopped at the Airport trisection. Vehicles arriving towards Dehradun city will be diverted from Ranipokhari intersection if needed.
Besides this, vehicles going to Haridwar via the Bhaniyawala flyover will be stopped at the flyover. Vehicles arriving from Rishikesh towards Nepali Farm will be stopped at Nepali Farm, said the officials. Vehicles going from Rishikesh towards Haridwar can be diverted from Rishikesh towards Haridwar via Chilla if needed.
