A blood donation camp was organised at the NTPC Tapovan Vishnugad hospital on Sunday. The HN Bahuguna hospital, VCS Garhwali government medical science and research institute also assisted in the activity.
The project chief RP Ahirwar and Alaknanda Mahila Samiti chairperson Usha Ahirwar inaugurated the blood donation camp. The duo motivated all the employees and others to donate blood. The project employees, their family members, doctors and CISF personnel donated blood on the occasion. A total of 45 persons donated blood in the camp. The activity was conducted by the NTPC chief medical officer Dr AK Takkar and medical officer US Bonal.
