The former president of Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) Ganesh Godiyal met the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at his residence on Sunday and demanded that an inquiry should be ordered on the complaints of corruption against the cabinet minister Dhan Singh Rawat.  He submitted a letter to the CM on the occasion in which he said that recently a complaint of irregularities purportedly done during his tenure as chairman of Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) between the years 2017 and 2022 was submitted by a member of the BKTC to the cabinet minister Dhan Singh Rawat who is his political rival. The minister ordered the chief secretary to conduct an inquiry on the complaint. Godiyal told the CM that he welcomes the inquiry ordered against him but added that inquiry on the complaints of corruption in the recruitment of nurses, scam in the recruitment of the cooperatives department , loan disbursal scam, irregularities in recruitment of assistant professors, share purchase  scam in the cooperative banks and Ayushman scam should also be ordered,

The Congress leader demanded that a committee headed by a retired judge of the high court should be ordered to investigate the charges levelled on him and a similar inquiry should be ordered on the complaints of corruption against the minister Dhan Singh Rawat.

Godiyal threatened that he would be forced to sit on a Dharna outside the residence of CM to salvage his pride if these high level inquiries against him and the minister are not ordered soon.
