Min temp to be 4 °C or below at isolated places in plains

The State meteorological centre issued a warning on Friday regarding the possibility of the minimum temperature remaining four degrees Celsius or below at isolated places in the plains of the State during the next one to two days. Apart from this, the meteorological centre has forecast that light to moderate rain/snowfall is likely to occur at a few places in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar and Champawat districts while very light to light rain/snowfall is likely to occur at isolated places in the remaining districts of the State.

Further, snowfall is likely to occur at places situated at altitudes of 3,000 metres and above. The provisional State capital Dehradun is likely to experience mainly clear to partly cloudy sky with mist likely to occur during the morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be about 21 degrees Celsius and five degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun today. The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded at various places on Friday were 20.2 degrees Celsius and 6.7 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 21 degrees Celsius and six degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 13.7 degrees Celsius and 3.1 degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 12.6 degrees Celsius and 5.1 degrees Celsius respectively in New Tehri.
