To ensure that the local street vendors are benefited with the various central government schemes, the Municipal Corporation of Dehradun (MCD) will conduct a week long Svanidhi Se Samriddhi camp from February 1 under aegis of Prime Minister Street Vendor’s Atmanirbhar Nidhi (Svanidhi) Scheme. In this camp, the corporation will connect the beneficiaries of Svanidhi scheme and their family members as per their eligibility with the several welfare schemes run under different departments of the Central Government.
The officials informed that MCD will organise this camp on every first week of every month on its premises and this month, the corporation will conduct the camp from February 1 to February 6. Moreover, representatives from various departments like the health department, women empowerment and child development department and labour department will also participate in the camp.
