Congress’ IT wing gears up for Lok Sabha polls

  The Information Technology (IT) wing of the State Congress has started gearing up for the Lok Sabha elections. The wing is trying to ensure that the message of top leaders of the Congress party and its policies reach the general public. 

The party has decided to create and activate WhatsApp groups and effectively use the social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube for spreading its message in masses. 

 The State in charge of the  IT cell of Uttarakhand, Shuja Gandhi held a meeting of the office bearers of IT cell of Garhwal division at the headquarters of State Congress here on Friday. In the meeting Gandhi handed over the responsibilities for ensuring that the message and works done by the Congress reach to ground level.

He said the IT cell will play an important role in all the five seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Uttarakhand. Gandhi said that every section of the society is affected by bad policies and governance of BJP. Gandhi said that the development of the state has stalled and corruption and price rise are at their peak. He alleged that the BJP government which boasts of zero tolerance on corruption has started selling the government jobs but its designs have now been exposed. He said that the people of the State reeling under the BJP rule want to change the government.

The State president of Uttarakhand Congress Social media cell Vikas Negi said that all the newly appointed in-charges should try to take the campaign of the party at the booth level. He said that the social media cell will design a new website soon which will help in linking with the general public of the State in a better way.
