In latest news from Uttarakhand, amidst the ongoing Lok Sabha election, the ruling BJP has sounded the bugle of the urban local body (ULB) polls. The State BJP president Mahendra Bhatt met the party functionaries in Lalkuan and urged them to pull up their sleeves and plunge into the ULB poll mode.
Bhatt said that his party hoped to better its performance in ULB poll this time. He denied there was any factionalism within the party folds and averred that the party would fight the polls unitedly.
