CM hands over appointment letters to Social Welfare Dept officials

 Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami handed over appointment letters to 35 assistant social welfare officers and three hostel superintendents of the Social Welfare department at his residence on Friday. These candidates have been selected by the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UkSSSC).

Congratulating the newly appointed officers the CM said that the process of appointments to the vacant posts in different departments is going on in the State.  The CM said that a campaign is underway to fill all the vacant posts in different departments of the State government. Exhorting the newly appointed officers to remain disciplined, the CM said that by adhering to discipline one can work in a better way and ensure that the eligible beneficiaries are covered under the social welfare schemes. The CM said that the officers can fulfil the principle of Antyodaya (welfare of the last person on the social ladder) by doing their work efficiently.

 He said that the State government has put control over the copying mafia by bringing a stringent law. Those involved in the crime of cheating and copying in the competitive examination have been put behind the bars. He claimed that the recruitment examinations are being held in a transparent manner in the State and now only bright and capable candidates are succeeding in the examinations.

Secretary Brijesh Kumar Sant, officiating director GR Nautiyal, deputy director Vasudev Arya and others were present on the occasion.
