Days continue to grow warmer in State

Temperatures in most parts of the state have continued to rise with warmer weather now replacing the chill of winter. Though some parts of the state experienced very light rain on Friday, the weather across the state was dry during the day. Further, according to the state meteorological centre, dry weather is likely to prevail in the districts of the state on Saturday. The provisional state capital Dehradun is forecast to experience mainly clear sky with the maximum and minimum temperatures likely to be around 28 degrees Celsius and 12 degrees Celsius respectively on Saturday. Meanwhile, the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in various parts of the state on Friday were 27.2 degrees Celsius and 11.6 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 29.7 degrees Celsius and nine degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 16 degrees Celsius and 4.3 degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 16.6 degrees Celsius and 6.8 degrees Celsius respectively in New Tehri. On the same day, the state’s summer capital Gairsain received four millimetres of rain and Litti received a millimetre of rain between 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM.
