The new team in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 from Ahmedabad has been given a name and will be called Gujarat Titans. The Ahmedabad franchise’s owner CVC Capital Partners announced the name on Wednesday ahead of the IPL auction on the weekend. The Gujarat Titans will be led by Hardik Pandya. Before Titans, Pandya played for Mumbai Indians. The team has roped in Ashish Nehra as the head coach, Gary Kirsten as the mentor and batting coach, and Vikram Solanki as the head of cricket. The home stadium for the Titans will be Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
