Continuing his practice of direct and informal interaction with locals during his stays in the districts, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami went on a morning walk in the Siror, Netala village in Bhatwadi block of Uttarkashi on Sunday. He interacted with the villagers and among other subjects also enquired about the erosion being caused by the Bhagirathi river. Dhami also used a mini power tiller to plough a field and sowed mandua seeds in the field. He also distributed mandua seeds to women in the village.

During his informal interaction with the locals, the CM sought their feedback on the government’s welfare schemes. Seeking information about various farming equipment, he talked about maximising distribution of modern equipment among the farmers. He also planted fruit saplings in the village. The CM said that fruits trees should be planted on barren land. Dhami said that interacting with the villagers during the morning walk is also useful for getting a feedback from the public on the government’s work. Uttarakhand will become a model State only by making the villages model and best villages, he added.
