CM exhorts social media influencers to propagate Global Investors Summit

The Uttarakhand government is engaged in all out efforts to make the upcoming Global Investors Summit in Dehradun a huge success. After organising a series of road-shows in different parts of the country and important destinations of the world, the government organised a social media influencers meet in Dehradun on Friday. Addressing the meeting Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami exhorted the social media influencers to propagate the Global Investors Summit. He said that Uttarakhand is fast emerging as a great destination for industry. The CM said that the State has Char Dham and many religious spots. The law and order condition in the State is excellent and it is one of the safest States for investment. Dhami said that roadshows were organised in many cities of the world and country for the investors’ summit and it has got a very good response from investors. Dhami said that memoranda of understanding (MoU) on investment proposals worth Rs two Lakh crore have already been signed. He averred that the focus of the State government is on more and more employment generation and with this pursuit the Global Investors Summit is being organised on December 8 and 9 in Dehradun.  The CM told the social media influencers that about a week is now left for the summit and they should publicise the summit so that ‘Destination Uttarakhand- Global Investors Summit’ gets trending on the social media. He expressed confidence that the social media influencers will take up the uniqueness of Uttarakhand in a big way. The people of the world will get to know about the qualities of Uttarakhand in this manner.

An interactive session with all the influencers with the CM was also held on the occasion in  which Dhami responded to the questions of the social media influencers.The additional chief secretary Radha Raturi, secretaries Shailesh Bagauli, Vinay Shankar Pandey, Information DG Banshidhar Tiwari also attended the programme.
