The State health department reported two new cases of Covid-19 disease from Almora district on Wednesday. On Tuesday, the department had reported nine new cases of the disease from the district.
A total of 11 swab samples of suspected patients were tested in Almora on the day out of which two were found positive. However no new case of the disease was reported from other districts of the State on Wednesday. The department has so far detected 104683 new cases of the disease from January 1, 2022 till date. A total of 1,00,519 patients have recovered from the disease so far. The recovery percentage of the disease was at 96.02 per cent on Wednesday. A total of 335 patients have lost their lives from the disease from January 1 last year in the state.
The State now has 24 active patients of Covid-19. A total of 278 vaccine sessions were held in the State on Wednesday in which 11,304 people were vaccinated.
