Congress competing to create negativity & despair by spreading lies, says BJP State chief

The Congress appears to be in a competition involving negative politics, allegations and counter allegations. Leveling this allegation, the Bharatiya Janata Party State president Mahendra Bhatt said that the Vidhan Sabha speaker has taken a courageous and historic decision regarding the questionable appointments to various posts in the Vidhan Sabha. This has fulfilled the commitment of chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami who had said that the BJP is serious about inquiring into alleged irregularities in all terms and will maintain its zero tolerance for corruption.

Bhatt said that the Congress cannot prove a lie to be the truth simply by making noise. “When the investigation agencies are working impartially in the right direction, it is not ethical to raise questions at them. The Congress has a history of scams and corruption. At no time has it exhibited the moral courage as shown by chief minister Dhami. While the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) paper leak is being investigated by the Special Task Force, the police inspector recruitment case has been handed over to the Vigilance department. Now, with the formation of a committee to investigate the appointments in Vidhan Sabha, the BJP has exemplified its zero tolerance for corruption,” said the BJP State president.

Targeting the Congress, Bhatt said that in their desperation to outdo each other, some persons are spreading lies in the public to create an atmosphere of negativity and despair. “The BJP is all prepared to ensure that justice is done with the youth. CM Dhami has already stated that irregularities will be probed wherever found. The BJP government is also focused on ensuring that such questionable actions are not repeated in the future,” said Bhatt.
