Victory in Panchayat polls to boost BJP’s chances of major win in local body & LS polls: Bhatt

The Bharatiya Janata Party State president Mahendra Bhatt has thanked the people of Haridwar with candidates of the party set to be elected unopposed to the post of the district Panchayat president and chiefs of all the six blocks. He said that victory in the Panchayat polls will boost the party’s chances of similar victories in the coming local body and parliamentary polls. Regarding the allegations of malpractices leveled by the Congress, he said that the policy and intent of the Congress are flawed due to which the party finds irregularities in the use of both EVMs and ballot papers.
Addressing media persons at the BJP State office here on Tuesday, Bhatt said that the BJP candidates getting elected unopposed to the post of the Haridwar district Panchayat president and block Pramukhs of all six blocks is a victory of the development works done by chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Thanking the people of the area for the party’s resounding victory, he assured them that the representatives they had elected in the district and villages will focus on executing development works in the area as a top priority. Bhatt credited PM Modi’s vision, CM Dhami’s work and the hard work of Haridwar MP Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, current and former MLAs along with the party workers in the district for the victory in the Panchayat polls. He said that the bumper victory in the Panchayat polls will strengthen the BJP’s chances of a resounding victory in the local body and Lok Sabha elections in the future. The BJP State media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan and State media panelist Kunwar Japendra were also present on the occasion.
