Various decisions were taken in the board meeting of UJVN Limited chaired by the additional chief secretary Radha Raturi on Friday.
Managing director Sandeep Singhal informed that the annual accounts for the financial year 2022-23 were approved in the board meeting. Along with this, approval was given by the board of directors for giving performance-based incentives to the employees of the corporation. He further said that in the meeting, the proposal for issuing the detailed design and engineering bid of DPR of the 120 MW capacity hydropower project located on the Goriganga river was approved.
The board of directors also approved the proposal to issue a no-objection certificate for 0.150-hectare land of UJVNL for use by tge Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (UCADA) as a helipad for relief and rescue operations in Bhatwadi Tehsil of Uttarkashi district. Apart from this, the proposal for reconstruction and repair of the road from Juddo to the dam site of the Lakhwad multipurpose project was also approved by the board directors, he added.
