Uttarakhand’s daughter Manisha Adhikari becomes Flying Officer in IAF

Manisha Adhikari from Uttarakhand has become a Flying Officer in the Indian Air Force (IAF). The whole of Uttarakhand is proud of her achievement. Manisha will also fly fighter aircraft of the Indian Army. A resident of Chama village of the Madlak area of Champawat bordering Nepal, Manisha completed her primary education from Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Lohaghat and secondary education from Vidya Mandir, Lohaghat. She did her B. tech from Devbhoomi Institute of Technology, Dehradun. Manisha’s father Govind Singh Adhikari is a retired inspector in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and her mother Basanti Adhikari is a housewife. According to Manisha, her father’s CRPF uniform is what inspired her to achieve her goal of becoming an officer.
