UPES alumnus wins TiECON Dehradun 2024

UPES hosted TiECON Dehradun 2024 recently in collaboration with TiE Dehradun, a platform for entrepreneurs, thought leaders and enthusiasts. This year’s theme for the event was ‘Inspire, Innovate and Impact’ which saw participation from budding entrepreneurs from across the State, the university office bearers said.

The founder of the start-up Techyon Automotive, Naman Gandhi, an alumnus of UPES, emerged as the winner and secured funding of Rs one lakh to advance his ideas while Shubham Rana and Siddharth Jena were awarded the first runners-up trophy for their startups: Beeready Harvesters LLP and Akashlabdhi Pvt Ltd, respectively. TiECON 2024 was sponsored by Startup Uttarakhand with contributions from RIT Roorkee, Jivisa, OHO Radio and DPS Vikasnagar.
