Union minister Bhowmik heaps praises on Dhami govt

Says that the Uttarakhand is the first State to given pension to family of Divyangs

Heaping praises on the Pushkar Singh Dhami led BJP government of Uttarakhand, the Union Minister of State for Social Justice and empowerment Pratima Bhowmik has said that the State has become the first in the country to give pension to the family members of the Divyangs Jans ( specially abled). She was interacting with the media persons during her visit to the State on Wednesday. She said that the BJP government of Uttarakhand is implementing the schemes of the Union government in an effective manner.

Bhowmik said that during her visit she reviewed the progress of the schemes of her ministry and was satisfied with the progress. She said that Uttarakhand is providing a pension of Rs 700 per month to the family of Divyang Jans. The union minister also appreciated the achievement of the State government to provide Unique ID cards to 58 per cent Divyang Jans and disbursal of pension to 80,000 Divyang Jans. She assured every possible help to the State government in the social welfare activities. The union minister provided information about the PM Daksh Yojana under which skill development courses are provided to the students and other schemes of her ministry.

 She also met the party workers and office bearers in presence of the President of Uttarakhand BJP Mahendra Bhatt and Social welfare minister Chandan Ram Das.

Large number of BJP workers and leaders were present on the occasion.
